That Kid Who Lied About Getting Sick (Part 4)
Welcome back, Pigu fans! I’ve got another wild update for you on the ongoing mystery of Mikey—the kid who always seems to get sick at the worst possible moments. Things are getting even weirder, and I’m feeling like we’re on the verge of discovering something huge. This time, Coop and I took things to the next level and started investigating Mikey’s strange behavior from every angle. But of course, there are more twists and turns along the way.
The Visit to Nathenel’s House
So, Coop and I decided it was time to get some outside input. We headed over to Nathenel’s house—he’s one of Coop’s other friends, and he’s pretty sharp when it comes to figuring out people’s motives. Nathenel wasn’t too happy about Mikey’s constant disappearances, and he said something that made us both pause: “If Mikey’s always away, there will be consequences.”
Coop and I exchanged looks, and we knew right then that we were onto something big. What consequences was Nathenel talking about? And why was Mikey always lying about being sick? Something didn’t add up. But we didn’t have the answers yet.
Confronting Mikey
The next day, Coop took matters into his own hands and decided to confront Mikey. He found him by the lockers and asked straight up: “Why aren’t you going on the excursions, Mikey? Why do you keep skipping out?”
At first, Mikey didn’t say much, but then he blurted out: “I don’t like being away from my family.” His response was almost defensive, like he was trying to hide something.
Coop, always trying to be understanding, said, “I know how it feels, Mikey, but you should get out of your comfort zone, try new things…”
Before Coop could finish, Mikey snapped back: “Shh! Shut up! Don’t talk about it!”
That was it. The conversation ended right there. Mikey was acting really strange, and it only made us more suspicious. Why was he so defensive about it? And why didn’t he want to go on the excursions? Coop and I couldn’t figure it out. The mystery deepened.
Shopping Mall Theories
The next day, Coop and I were hanging out at the shopping mall, trying to come up with more theories about Mikey’s strange behavior. I was deep in thought, trying to figure out what was going on, when suddenly, I looked up and realized I was lost.
In a panic, I started wandering through the aisles, looking for Coop. I ended up crying because I couldn’t find my way back, but Coop eventually found me and reassured me. We took a break and sat down in a food court to brainstorm.
“Pigu, think about it. Mikey’s dog… Remember that time when I jokingly told him I was going to hurt it? Mikey burst into tears,” Coop said, his voice filled with confusion.
“Yeah, I remember,” I replied. “He’s definitely more of a softie than he lets on, but why would he hide that? And why was he acting so angry when I asked him about the excursions?”
Coop and I tried to piece everything together, but the more we thought about it, the more questions we had. Mikey’s behavior didn’t make any sense. Why did he care so much about his dog? And why was he always getting upset when we brought up anything outside his comfort zone?
The Phone Call
It wasn’t until the next day, when I went over to Coop’s house, that we decided to try something different. Coop suggested I give Mikey a call. We had nothing to lose, so I grabbed the phone and dialed his number. I was hoping that a long conversation might finally get Mikey to open up and reveal the truth.
It was a long 1-hour phone call. Mikey didn’t say much, and when he did, it was the same vague answers: “I was sick,” “I don’t feel like going,” “It’s just how I am.”
But still, nothing concrete. I was getting frustrated. Why wouldn’t he just come out and say what was really going on? Why couldn’t he just admit that something was wrong?
The call ended with no answers. Mikey had successfully avoided all the tough questions, and I was left feeling more confused than ever. Coop was just as puzzled. It seemed like Mikey was hiding something important, but he wasn’t going to come clean anytime soon.
The Mystery Continues
And that’s where we are now. Coop and I have no solid answers yet, but we’re not giving up. Mikey’s secret is still a mystery, and we’re determined to uncover the truth. Whatever he’s hiding, it’s bigger than we thought. So stay tuned, because this investigation is far from over. I’ll be back soon with more updates on the case!
