That Kid Who Lied About Getting Sick (Part 2)

It’s your favorite alien detective Pigu back at it again, solving mysteries and questioning strange occurrences. If you’ve been keeping up with the case of Mikey, the kid who’s always “sick,” you know things are about to get even crazier. This time, I’ve got new intel that could blow the case wide open!

Coop Exposes Mikey’s Secret

So, Coop—Mikey’s best friend—decides he’s had enough of the secret-keeping. He spills the beans to Ted and Wed, two of our other classmates. They all started talking about Mikey’s “sickness” at lunch, and it turns out Coop knew more than he let on.

"He didn’t come to the camp becuase he says that it was an oppurtunity to stay at home for 5 days" Coop confessed. "He also didn't come to the train excursion because he was scared of falling down the tracks."

Whoa. So Mikey wasn’t just avoiding school activities to have fun; he was scared and lazy.

Mikey’s Emotional Breakdown

But just when I thought I had the whole thing figured out, Mikey showed up and overheard Coop. He looked at Coop with wide eyes and burst into tears, whispering to him, “I hate you! You ruined everything! You told them my secret!”

Secret? What secret? This was getting out of hand. Mikey was acting like his life had just fallen apart because Coop spilled the beans. My alien detective brain kicked into overdrive. Something was very off here.

The Interrogation Round 2

After the emotional meltdown, I had no choice but to interrogate Mikey again. It was now or never. I walked up to him, all serious-like, and asked, “Mikey, why were you lying about being sick all the time? What’s the real reason?”

But Mikey was the same as before. “It just happens randomly…” he said, avoiding eye contact and clearly uncomfortable. I pressed him harder: “Why don’t you want to go on the school trips? What’s the big deal?”

Still no answer. Mikey just stared at the floor, clearly trying to hold back his tears. My suspicion meter was through the roof now. Was Mikey hiding something even bigger? Was there a deeper reason for all this? What was he so afraid of?

Still a Mystery

No matter how many questions I asked, Mikey wouldn’t budge. He just kept repeating the same thing: “It’s random. I don’t know.”

I was starting to think this kid wasn’t just sick—he was hiding something. Something important. Maybe it was something so embarrassing that he didn’t want anyone to know. Or maybe it was something even more serious. Whatever it was, I wasn’t giving up on this case. No way.

But for now, the mystery remains unsolved. Mikey, the boy who lied about being sick, still has secrets that I’m determined to uncover. Stay tuned, because I’m going to get to the bottom of this... and when I do, it’s going to be a huge revelation!
