That Kid Who Lied About Getting Sick (Part 1)

Alright, folks, let me introduce you to Mikey—the most mysterious kid in school. Or should I say, the most *sickly* kid in school? He’s always “getting sick” at the most convenient times. Excursions, special days, even just random Mondays. I’m talking about a track record so suspicious, it makes me, Pigu, the greatest detective alien, raise my metaphorical eyebrow!

The Mystery of Mikey

It all started when Coop, Mikey’s best buddy, spilled the beans. We were chatting about the school camp to the capital of Japan, and I asked why Mikey didn’t come. Was he sick again? Coop leaned in and whispered, “Nah, he just wanted five days off school.” FIVE DAYS OFF SCHOOL? That’s when my alien instincts kicked in. This was no coincidence. Mikey was up to something.

And it didn’t stop there. Turns out Mikey also bailed on the train excursion to see *Jungle Bot* at the cinema. His excuse? He was “too scared” of falling down the tracks and thought the movie was a waste of money. I mean, who skips *Jungle Bot*? It’s a cinematic masterpiece! Something fishy was going on, and I was going to get to the bottom of it.

The Investigation Begins

Armed with my trusty notepad and magnifying glass (for dramatic effect), I decided to confront Mikey directly. I marched up to him during lunch and said, “Mikey, why are you so sick all the time?” He looked at me, all innocent, and said, “It just happens randomly.” Randomly? Riiiiight. I wasn’t buying it.

I hit him with 10 more questions: - “What kind of sickness do you have?” - “Why does it only happen on fun days?” - “Do your parents know you’re skipping?” - “Do you even like school?” - “What’s your favorite movie? Is it *not* Jungle Bot?!”

But Mikey dodged every question like a ninja. “I don’t know,” “It’s just a coincidence,” “Leave me alone, Pigu.” The more he avoided answering, the more suspicious I became. Was he faking? Was there a bigger conspiracy at play? I couldn’t tell. Yet.

Clues and Theories

Coop told me something interesting: if Mikey keeps skipping school, his parents might get fined or even arrested. Whoa. That’s some serious stuff! Could Mikey be trying to protect his parents? Or was he just lazy? Either way, I had my work cut out for me.

My theories so far: 1. Mikey is a master faker who just wants extra vacation days. 2. Mikey has a secret fear of school activities. 3. Mikey is part of a government experiment to avoid education (okay, maybe not that one).

The Unsolved Mystery

By the end of my investigation, I had no solid answers. Mikey refused to crack, Coop didn’t know much else, and I was left scratching my head. This case is far from closed, folks. Mark my words, I, Pigu, will return to uncover the truth about Mikey!

Until then, stay curious, stay skeptical, and always question the kid who’s “too sick” to watch *Jungle Bot*. Seriously, what’s up with that?
