That Time I Cried About Getting Lost In A Shopping Mall
Alright, so I have to tell you this. I’m not proud of it, but there was this one time I got lost in a shopping mall and, well... I might’ve cried. Yeah, I said it—CRIED. And I’m not talking about a little sniffle, either. I’m talking full-on, dramatic tears. Here’s what happened.
It All Started So Innocently
I had just finished getting the best ice cream ever (trust me, I have good taste) and I was feeling all happy and excited, right? I decided to go on an adventure and explore the mall. You know, the kind of adventure where you think you’re invincible and nothing can stop you? Yeah, well... I was wrong.
So, there I was, walking around the mall like I owned the place, admiring all the shiny stores, when I realized... wait, where did I come from again? And more importantly, where was I going? Suddenly, the mall felt a LOT bigger than it did five minutes ago. It was like it multiplied or something! I was totally turned around!
The Panic Set In
At first, I tried to keep my cool. Like, "Hey, I can figure this out. No big deal!" But after walking in circles for what felt like HOURS (it was probably just five minutes, but time doesn’t make sense when you're lost), I started to panic. I didn’t even know what store I was near anymore! I didn’t know where the exits were! I didn’t know where the food court was (which was a serious emergency at this point).
Then it happened. My heart started racing. I felt like I was going to faint or get swallowed up by the mall or something. I mean, there were SO MANY PEOPLE. Everywhere I looked, it was just a sea of legs and shopping bags and *LOUD NOISES*. And that’s when it happened... the tears started to well up.
The Breakdown
I tried to hold it together, but it was no use. I sat down on the floor of the mall and started bawling. Yes, I actually cried in the middle of a busy shopping mall. People walked by, and I could see them glance at me, but no one stopped to help. I probably looked like a giant red alien freak who was having a complete meltdown, but honestly, I didn’t care. I was lost, scared, and hungry—basically, my life was over.
After a solid five minutes of crying, I realized I needed to get it together. I mean, come on. I was Pigu! I didn’t cry! I was brave, right? So, I wiped my eyes, took a deep breath, and got up.
The Grand Escape
Determined not to give up, I decided to do what any smart, brave adventurer would do—follow the signs. I spotted a sign that said "EXIT," and you better believe I followed it like it was my ticket to freedom. It felt like a victory. I was walking out of the mall! My epic journey was over!
And when I finally got out? Well, I might’ve cried a little bit more. But only out of joy. And also because I was starving and had no idea where my friends were.
So, yeah. That’s the story of how I got lost in a shopping mall and cried like a big baby. Moral of the story? Don’t ever wander too far from your group in a shopping mall. Or, you know, just ask for help before the tears start flowing.
