Going on Neo and Lily's Date (again!)
Well, well, well... looks like I'm back at it again. This time, I'm tagging along on Neo and Lily's date—yep, you heard me right! We’re going to the Big Apple, folks. *New York City!* And as usual, I'm here to add some chaos to their otherwise adorable (and sometimes *too* romantic) adventures.
Day 1: The Big Apple Begins
The plane ride was... long, as they always are. I spent most of the time trying to figure out how to make a paper airplane that would actually fly. Spoiler alert: it didn’t. But I didn’t let that get me down. We finally landed in New York City, and let me tell you, it was EVERYTHING. The skyscrapers, the lights, the hustle and bustle—it was the perfect city to start this *adventure*.
We checked into our hotel, and guess what? They only had ONE king-size bed available. So of course, Neo and Lily, being the *romantic couple* they are, immediately decided they were going to share it. And *I*—well, I was going to have a *little fun* with this arrangement.
“What’s the plan for tonight?” I asked, winking. “Kissy kissy oo?”
“Pigu!” Lily blushed. “We’re just going to relax and enjoy the city!”
But oh no, you couldn’t keep me away from *Kissy Kissy Oo* moments. I watched intently as Neo and Lily exchanged some cute glances and whispered sweet nothings to each other. And let me tell you, the amount of “Kissy Kissy Oo” moments in the first few hours? *Incredible*. Like, at least five times before we even went out for dinner. It was like I was a love-struck bystander at a romantic comedy!
Day 2: More Kissy Kissy Oo and Pigu’s Antics
The second day was no different. Neo and Lily were completely in their own little world, walking hand-in-hand around Central Park. I, however, was doing my best to *not* get in the way, but it was hard not to laugh every time they exchanged kisses.
“Guys, you do realize that there are tourists here, right?” I pointed out, trying to suppress my giggles. “We’re not in a rom-com, you know. You don’t have to act like it’s the final scene of a movie.”
“Pigu, stop being dramatic,” Neo chuckled. “Just enjoy the city.”
“I *am* enjoying it. By making you two the stars of my own personal sitcom,” I responded. “And speaking of which... why are you both so obsessed with *Kissy Kissy Oo* today?”
Lily giggled. “We just enjoy spending time together. Is that so wrong?”
“Not wrong! Just *cute*,” I replied. “You two are like a walking, talking romance novel. You’re making me want to go buy a puppy and name it *Lovebug* to balance out all this sugary sweetness.”
Day 3: Oh No! Thunderstorms and Kaiju?!
The third day came, and with it, an *unexpected twist*. We were planning on going sightseeing around Times Square when the weather took a turn. Suddenly, thunder started rumbling, and before we knew it, there was a full-on thunderstorm!
“Uh-oh,” Neo said, looking up at the sky. “This doesn’t look good.”
“What do you mean it doesn’t look good?!” I yelled, as lightning struck in the distance. “I was hoping for a day of *Kissy Kissy Oo*, not a thunderstorm and a potential *kaiju* attack!”
As if on cue, a loud growl echoed through the city. We all froze. Neo and Lily looked at each other, concerned, while I was already preparing to run for cover.
“It’s a kaiju! I knew it! I knew it was coming!” I exclaimed, jumping behind a trashcan for cover.
“Pigu, I think it’s just the storm,” Kaito said from a distance. “Calm down.”
But I was already running in circles. “There’s no time to calm down, Kaito! The city is in danger!”
To make a long story short, there was no kaiju. But there was some *serious* rain, and the storm turned out to be just a passing fluke. Still, I couldn’t shake the feeling that something bigger was lurking in the distance… but that’s a story for another day.
Day 4 and Beyond: More Kissy Kissy Oo and Pigu’s Shenanigans
After the storm cleared, things went back to *normal*. That is, Neo and Lily kept being *super* lovey-dovey, and I kept being, well, *Pigu*—providing all the comedic relief.
“Kissy kissy oo,” I sang as I spotted them holding hands again in the park.
“Pigu, you’re impossible!” Lily laughed, but there was a hint of joy in her voice.
“I can’t help it! You two are just *too cute*,” I said with a grin. “Seriously, though, can we go to a diner now? My stomach is growling louder than a kaiju during a thunderstorm.”
And so, the rest of the trip continued with more *Kissy Kissy Oo* moments, more funny Pigu antics, and lots of hilarious situations. We went to a Broadway show (where I may have snuck popcorn into the theater... oops), toured the city, and of course, made memories that would last forever.
The Takeaway
So, what did we learn from this whirlwind trip to New York? For one, never underestimate Pigu’s ability to create chaos, even in the *most romantic* settings. And two, love can be sweet, but it can also be hilarious (especially when I’m around). As for Neo and Lily? They’re still as in love as ever, but they might need to watch out for me—and my never-ending commentary—next time.
