Pigu's Blog

That Time I Wanted to Be a Baby

Oh boy, where do I start? One day, I woke up and thought, “You know what? Being a grown alien is too much work. I want to be a baby again!” No responsibilities, no stress, just eating, sleeping, and being adorable all day. Who wouldn’t want that?

So, I waddled over to Neo and said, “Neo, I’ve decided I want to be a baby.” He looked at me like I had just grown a second head. “Pigu, you’re already small and silly. How much more baby-like can you get?”

I puffed up my cheeks. “No, Neo! I want the full baby experience. Diapers, baby food, everything!” Neo rolled his eyes and muttered something about me losing my mind.

Operation: Baby Pigu

Step one of my master plan was to find a diaper. I rummaged through the closet and found an old towel. “Perfect!” I wrapped it around myself and waddled into the living room. “Ta-da! Baby Pigu is here!”

Lily burst out laughing. “Pigu, what are you doing? You look ridiculous!”

I ignored her and grabbed a bottle of milk. “I’m a baby now! Someone burp me!”

The Baby Life Is Hard

At first, being a baby was fun. I crawled around the house, made silly noises, and demanded snacks. But then things got… complicated. Turns out, crawling is a lot harder than it looks. My knees hurt, and I kept bumping into furniture.

Kaito walked in and said, “Pigu, why are you crawling on the floor?”

“Because I’m a baby, Kaito! Babies don’t walk!”

He shook his head. “Babies also don’t scream, ‘I’m a baby!’ every five seconds.”

Feeding Time

Next, I decided to try baby food. Lily made me a bowl of mashed bananas. “Here you go, Baby Pigu,” she said, trying not to laugh.

I took one bite and spat it out. “BLEH! This tastes like mushy sadness!”

Lily smirked. “Well, that’s what babies eat. Still want to be one?”

I pouted. “Maybe being a baby isn’t as easy as I thought…”

Back to Normal

By the end of the day, I was exhausted. Crawling, eating baby food, and acting cute was way more work than I expected. I flopped onto the couch and sighed. “Okay, I admit it. Being a baby is hard. I think I’ll stick to being Pigu.”

Neo grinned. “Good choice. Now, can we go one day without you doing something ridiculous?”

I crossed my arms. “Ridiculous? Me? Never!”

And that, my friends, is the story of how I learned that being a baby isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. Moral of the story: Appreciate your current age because every stage of life has its challenges. Also, mashed bananas are gross!
